Jessie Devlin Close
Jessie Devlin Close is a direct access hostel providing a 24-hour crisis intervention service to some of the city’s most vulnerable people. Many men and women who are rough sleeping or at risk of becoming street homeless refer themselves to the project to gain help and emergency accommodation. Substance misuse, behavioural problems, relationship breakdown, mental health and prison release are some of the factors leading to their homelessness.
Accommodating up to 33 people, the project offers residents more than a roof over their head. It aims to help them move towards more appropriate accommodation and ultimately independent living. Supported by staff, residents are assisted to engage with the support services needed to help them address the issues leading to their current circumstances. Residents receive healthy and well-balanced meals to help improve their health and wellbeing, and ensure their daily nutritional needs are met.
Brewery Lane

Brewery Lane provides an intensive resettlement service for 20 individuals who have experienced homelessness and problems with sustaining a tenancy. These projects aim to prepare clients for independent living to enable them to resettle in the city and reintegrate back into mainstream society. The project is staffed 24-hours a day, and offers a structured and stable environment where residents are given the space and support to address the issues that contributed to their homelessness.
Residents have their own self contained bed-sit, enabling them to experience a high degree of independent living. They are required to cook their own meals and be responsible for keeping their living areas clean and in a tenable condition. They must also take part in a planned programme of support based on their individual needs and aspiration. Residents have allocated key workers and co-workers who work closely with them and liaise with other housing/supporting agencies to ensure the individual is fully supported in their move towards independent living.
Seagate

Seagate Project is a 15 bedded resettlement unit providing supported accommodation to men and women with severe mental health and addiction problems. The project offers a homely environment and consists of 7 self-contained bed-sits and 2 cluster flats, each with 4 private bedrooms and communal living areas.
On average, residents stay at the project for a period of 18 months - 3 years. The project is a dry unit and aims to help clients develop the life skills needed for an independent or less supported tenancy. Residents are assisted to live their lives as independently as possible, and are encouraged to make their own choices and decisions. Helping them to gain greater independence and enable them to lead a happy and fulfilled life.
